Welcome! Social Media Phobe was created as an educational exercise for my graduate coursework in communications at Johns Hopkins University. It documents my struggle to overcome social media and technology-related anxiety.

It’s my social media coming out story. A blog for those communications professionals who remember a time long before cell phones and iPods, before the Internet, when our social networking took place on land lines and we were thrilled when the call waiting feature was rolled out.

I’ve completed my M.A. in communications from JHU, with concentrations in health communication and public relations. As the founder and Chief Storyteller at i2i Communications Ltd., I write to stay up to date in this ever-changing digital world, and am particularly interested in the places in which healthcare technology and delivery, public relations and communications intersect.

Come on in and have a look around!
